EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES Aquarium Video Library -Online
The Monterey Bay Aquarium Website Video Library includes over 30 videos about animals, exhibits, and conservation research programs at the aquarium. The videos are in QuickTime@ or Windows Media Player@. The site also offers activities, materials for the classroom, and marine science career information.

CIESE Online Classroom Projects
The Center for Improved Engineering and Science Education (CIESE) sponsors and designs interdisciplinary projects that teachers can use to enhance their curriculum through use of the Internet. The focus is on projects that utilize real-time data from the Internet. Some of these collaborative projects include "Down the Drain: How much water do you use?", "The Global Water Sampling Project: An investigation of water quality" for grades 9- 12, and "The Square of Life: Studies of Local and Global Environments" for grades 1-5.

Estuaries Discovery Kit
NOM's National Ocean Service Communications and Education Division offers the Estuaries Discovery Kit. New York Public Library Digital Gallery
This large-scale digital image gallery has been years in the making and currently offers more than 275,000 items for online viewing. You can search for specific images or keywords, or browse by subject (e.g. fish), collection (e.g. Nature Illustrated or Ocean Flowers), or library division. Set aside time to explore this extensive website.

Wetland Education through Maps and Aerial Photography Workshops – Florida
The Tampa Bay Estuary Program, the U.S. Geological Survey's National Wetlands Research Center, and other collaborators are sponsoring two Wetland Education through Maps and Aerial Photography (WETMMP) workshops for middle and high school teachers. Participants will receive a variety of materials, including a resource guide, aerial photos, topographic and land cover maps, and educational exercises correlated to national standards. The workshops will take place at the end of June.
